Well of the Seven Heads Store, Loch Oich

The Well of Seven Heads Store is a long, well established convenience and general store, now under new management, located on the A82. Opposite the shop is Loch Oich and the nearby parking and picnicking area. The loch is used for boating and water pursuits and forms part of the series of lochs linked by the Caledonian Canal designed by the renowned engineer Thomas Telford. The Great Glen Way has also become popular with walkers and cyclists. The Well of Seven Heads (Tobar Nan Ceann) is a well known landmark in remembrance of one of Scotland's bloodiest Clan Feuds.

Dalarö Kajak - kayak hire and outfitting in Sweden

Hyra kajak

Planning a trip to Sweden?  If so, you should consider getting in touch with Dalarö Kajak about hiring boats in the Stockholm Archipeligo.  They also offer guided trips.  Here it is possible to go kayaking in calm waters or further out into the beautiful outer part of the archipelago with proximity to Kymendö, Fjärdlång and Huvudskär.

With the kayak you can easily reach parts of the archipelago no one else can reach and get the chance to experience nature and the bird life close up.  Dalarö Kajak is a kayak centre where you can rent kayaks, buy kayaks or follow join a guided kayak tour. It's only about 35 minutes from Stockholm by car, or about 55 minutes by public transport.  It is one of Stockholm archipelago's largest kayak rentals.  The surroundings are beautiful and a paradise for kayakers with all its islands, islets and exciting trips. There are also lots of uninhabited small islands that you can both paddle around or stay and spend the night at.
